Welcome to the home page for Patrick Clark! The new album "Spiraling Toward Madness" is now available on iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby. If you're in St. Louis, MO support your local music store and stop by Vintage Vinyl and Euclid Records to pick up a copy.
This website will be undergoing a dramatic change in the next few weeks so please keep checking back for updates.
Work is also underway on three (3) music videos from the new album "Spiraling Toward Madness." Keep checking back for details on release dates and upcoming gigs.
This album has been almost six years in the making. I think it's some of the best stuff to date. Producer, Percussionist and Musician extraordinaire Peter Lang has pushed and prodded and pulled some amazing sounds and ideas together.
I'm asking you to tape and watch my show "Offbeat America" airing Sunday mornings on Travel Channel. Back-to-back episodes are airing at 7 and 7:30am Pacific and Eastern and 6 and 6:30am Central. Check your local listings just to be safe. But please do tape it and send the network an email or facebook message that you love the show and want to see more.
What else is going on? Well, a lot. I think it's safe to say that the past couple of years have seen a lot of change for everyone. Myself included. In 2009 for instance, the economy, the guy that smashed up my car, not to mention my personal life have lent some inspiration towards new songs. Creating and writing are two of the best things in the world. Sometimes inspiration comes and flows in starts and fits. Lately it's been like Niagara Falls. Everyday is a gift and I just keep writing. As you know, no one knows when writer's block can sink in.
I think that people can have months even years of writer's block. Then, something happens, a switch internally, a spark, and the next thing you know, you have five new projects in the works.
Mike Steimel is a good friend of mine and has a new album out.
Mike was kind enough to let me play some piano on of the of tracks. He self-produced this album over the last few years, working tirelessly to find the right sound. Please check it out. It's a great disc.
There's a few television opportunities that are making themselves known and I'll tell you more about them when I have more details. In the meantime, please keep checking back. I promise, big changes on the site and with new content!
In 2008 when the elections were taking place I sat down with the guys at the American Mustache Institute to talk politics. Yes, they are a real organization. No, a goatee or beard wearer isn't allowed into the group. That's what the beard congress is for. Anyway, these are a little dated, but still a lot of fun. Give them a view...

Hopefully you've caught Home & Garden Network's hit "Offbeat America." The show airs Mondays at 6pm Eastern and Pacific. Set your Tivos and DVRs, please. They really do check that stuff. And if you'd like to be really nice. Send HGTV a note telling them how much you love the show.
In need of something to make you laugh? Check out "Standing Up" a pilot produced by my writing partner Justin Foran. We were improv classmates at the Groundlings. The trailer episode will surely make you laugh and If you look closely you might just catch my small role. Head to You Tube and look for "Standing Up" with Justin Foran.
It was an incredible night in St. Louis on October 20th. I hosted the 31st Annual Emmy Awards Gala in the Ferrara Theater at the America's Center. We'll have pictures from the event in the next few weeks. In the meantime, you can head to the NATAS website to see a list of the winners from the five state Mid-America region.
More exciting news with the new album "Spiraling Towards Madness." The new disc is now more than half way complete. The project has been ongoing nationwide with tracks recorded in St. Louis, Los Angeles and now New York. Big Apple jazz trombonist and composer Eric Storckman has been busy working on horn parts and coordinating a full gospel choir for two tracks. Meanwhile, back in the Gateway city, producer Peter Lang has been recording and tweaking tracks in the St. Louis studio. That is, when he's not on the road touring. You can catch Peter behind the drum kit on tour with Anthony Gomes.
In case you missed it, Pete and I wrote the jingle for St. Louis television station KPLR. That's friend and former channel 11 alum Nikki Boyer on lead vocals. And if you listen carefully, you can hear Pete and I singing backup. You can hear the song and watch the image spot Here.
In case you haven't checked it out, please take a look at the content on the Videos page. Give it a click and see what's new. Recent travel has taken me through the states of New York, Colorado, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee. The trip through the South was amazing and we'll fill you in on all the details with pictures to boot!
Recently, I was a guest on
WSYX and WTTE in Columbus, Ohio. I got the chance to sit in with Terri Sullivan and Megan Pringle discussing his recent travels around the U.S.
Also had the chance to visit a number of TV stations across the country like
KTVI's Fox 2 in the Morning with longtime friend
John Pertzborn. While in
St. Louis, stopped by
KMOV-TV and talked with
Marc Cox. While in
Denver, CO had the opportunity to stop by
KMGH and talked with
Katie Trexler and
Bertha Lynn about
"Offbeat America."
The city of
San Diego has been so generous. I stopped by the
KFMB-TV studios and visited with
Nichelle Medina and
Dan Cohen. The
KUSI-TV morning show, "Good Morning San Diego" and
Susan Lennon were also gracious and let me stop by to talk about
"Offbeat America."
In between some amazing homes, gardens and artists in
San Diego, I had the chance to drop by 100.7 JackFM's
Monique and the Man Morning Show. Monique, Greg and Sara were fantastic and ridiculously funny. And I had the opportunity to stop by NBC affiliate
KNSD-TV and talk with anchor
Bill Menish about the offbeat homes and artists in the San Diego area.
More and more people are finding the show and the comments have been tremendous. Thanks for the many nice notes. The Boise, Idaho daily paper recently ran a nice article.
Many thanks to Derek & Romaine from
Sirius Satellite Radio. I was a guest on their talk show and had a fun time.
In case you missed it, I was featured in the St. Louis Post Dispatch. Thanks to Post columnist Gail Pennington for the nice comments and press for the "Offbeat America" mini-marathon on Christmas day.
Also many thanks to
Paul Harris from
KMOX radio in St. Louis. Paul was kind enough to have me in his studios recently. If you haven't heard his show please give it a listen. He's a great radio host and friend.
Please make sure to check out the hit show
"Offbeat America." The program airs Mondays on
HGTV at 6:00pm Eastern and Pacific, 5:00pm Central, and 4:00 pm Mountain. Viewer feedback has been tremendous. Make sure to tell your friends to watch or email
